Linda E. Hurley
MA, CAGS, LCDCS, PRESIDENT, CEO
Linda Hurley has worked in substance abuse treatment and behavioral healthcare for more than 25 years. She has been with CODAC since 1991 and, in 2016, was named CODAC’s President/CEO. Under Ms. Hurley’s leadership, CODAC was the first Opioid Treatment Program in the nation to receive Health Home certification and the first OTP in RI to be designated as a Center of Excellence. Ms. Hurley has been a leader in working to effect policy change in RI, serving on numerous boards and coalitions . She has also been called as a consultant for state and federal agencies, including the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Admin. (SAMHSA) and the United States Senate.
Alisha Bourdeau
CFO, DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES
Alisha Bourdeau has been with CODAC since 2011. After seven years as CODAC’s Director of Finance, she was named CFO in 2016. Ms. Bourdeau is responsible for fiscal management of the agency and oversees all financial functions at CODAC. In 2010, Ms. Bourdeau’s job title was expanded to include Director of Human Resources. In this capacity, she is responsible for implementation and oversight of all CODAC Human Resource services, policies, and programs. She is also tasked with ensuring agency compliance with all employment-related regulatory requirements.
Susan Hart, MD
MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Dr. Susan Hart joined CODAC’s team of staff physicians in 2007and, in 2012, became CODAC’s medical director. Dr. Hart is responsible for developing, implementing and assuring best practice standard of care in substance abuse treatment for all CODAC NTP patients. Dr. Hart provides oversight of all CODAC medical staff. She also serves as medical liaison to the RI Dept. of Corrections, where she oversees withdrawal and maintenance protocols under CODAC’s ongoing contract for onsite services. Dr. Hart has been certified by the American Society of Addiction medicine since 2008.
Dustin Alvanas
MBA, MS, LCDP, VICE PRESIDENT, ADMIN. OPERATIONS
Dustin Alvanas was hired in 2011, after attaining his master’s degree in psychology. After working as a clinician at CODAC Newport for years, Mr. Alvanas’ talents at facility management and oversight led to a role assisting with physical plant and program operations. He became part of the leadership team at CODAC Corporate In 2015, and was tasked with operations management for all CODAC sites. In 2016, Mr. Alvanas was named CODAC’s VP of Administrative Operations, a roll he continues to serve today.
Sharon Morello
BSN, RN, VICE PRESIDENT CLINICAL OPERATIONS
Sharon Morello brings a long and extensive history of nursing and behavioral healthcare experience to CODAC. She is known, both locally and nationally, for her training skills and has conducted trainings in RI and across the United States. Ms. Morello actively consults on Evidence Based Programs in opioid treatment settings and is a National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) certified Suboxone Trainer. In 2016, she delivered training to over 500 RI nurses on “Re-Thinking Addiction: The Opioid Epidemic and Medication Assisted Treatment.” Ms. Morello sits on numerous advisory boards and councils representing substance use and behavioral health issues.
