At a round table discussion hosted by Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, U.S. Surgeon General Jerome M. Adams spoke at length about Opioid Use Disorder and how he would continue to advocate for a wide range of programs and policies to stop the opioid crisis in its tracks. CODAC President Linda Hurley was among the speakers invited by Sen. Whitehouse to discuss how Rhode Island is addressing the spike in overdose deaths.
